I am the President of Artículo 12, A.C., a non-profit organization based in Mexico, and the Executive Director of its data privacy-focused program "SonTusDatos" ("It's Your Data"), the first non-profit program that defends since 2012 the privacy and data protection rights of ICT and Internet users in Mexico. I have also been elected as a member of the Steering Committee of the Civil Society Information Society Advisory Council (CSISAC), which represents Civil Society within the Committee for the Digital Economy (CDEP) of the Organisation for the Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), for the period 2017-2019.
