I hail from India and completed by undergrad in the field of engineering in Information Technology. Since then I have been continuing my passion for research in the field of social computing systems with a research group in Delhi. I am an avid software developer, debater and a youth volunteer. I especially love reading and watching movies and I love to engage in discussions with anyone about these things.
My usual day is spent building technologies (read: writing code), to solve some cool problems. Lately, I have been focusing my research on the selfie-related casualties happening all around the world and building a technological intervention for the same.
I have experience in the field of ICT since my undergraduate days. I am interested in IGF because I consider myself and my generation vital to the evolution and development of policies around the Internet. I believe my participation in this program is important to voice the concerns of my community, learn and spread awareness about the open, free and secure use of the internet. Since long, I had wished to enact change by getting involved at the policy level when it comes to the internet.
