Olutoyin J Oloniteru is a University of Lagos Ambassador Extra Ordinary. He is a product of the University's Faculties of Science (B.Sc in Mathematics/Statistics), Law (International Law & Diplomacy, MILD), and Engineering (ICT Policy & Regulations with specialization in Engineering & Technology}.
Toyin, also an Honoured Covenant University Ambassador is an alumnus of the School of Mathematics & Information Security Group (ISG) at Royal Holloway, University of London, Egham, Surrey; of the Law School, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland (LLM in Information Technology & Telecommunications Law – Cyberlaw & Space Law)
He is co-founder & CEO of Spindlar Cyberlaw Centre, Lagos; founder & chairman - Digital Extra Ltd, a Blockchain & Crypto Currencies Research and solutions consulting company.
Toyin was former Director-General, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Government of Ekiti State, Nigeria; attendant member, Presidential Committee on Broadband Rollout in Nigeria and foermer member of National Council on Communication Technology (NCCT).
He is a doctoral scholar, researcher and Cybersecurity & Cyberlaw teacher. Chief Oloniteru is a Research Fellow and Faculty member at Digital Bridge Institute, Abuja; alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School of Government, USA and also of the International Centre for Land Policy Study and Training (ICLPST), Taoyuan, Taiwan – with specialization and research interest in Geographic Information System (GIS), Land Management and Geospatial knowledge infrastructure.
Toyin presents papers and was paper reviewer of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV), of the Centre for Electronic Governance, International Institute for Software Technology (IIST), United Nations University (UNU), Macau SAR, China.
