Tambra Raye Stevenson is a Ph.D. student in the Media, Law and Democracy at American University School of Communication in Washington, DC. She formerly worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Commerce and the D.C. Mayor's Office on Women's Policy and Initiatives. She has her master's degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in health communication and B.S. from Oklahoma State University.
