An ICT Policy Analyst at the International Telecommunication Union ITU, working in the Strategy and Planning Division on WSIS-related activities, with 15 years of progressive international experience working for governments and international organizations in Geneva, Belgrade and New York in the fields of ICT international policy making, UN affairs, innovation and transfer of technology, and humanitarian work.
Participated in five IGF annual events: 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2011, 2010 and 2009.
Coordinated five (5) WSIS Prizes contests, and helped organized WSIS Forum annual events since 2015.
At the IGF 2019: hosting WSIS Exhibition Booth for the entire week, promoting WSIS Stocktaking and WSIS Prizes, holding Open Forum session on the Second Physical Meeting of the Open Consultation Process towards the WSIS Forum 2020 on 27 November, participating in other sessions related to use of ICT for development, including SDGs.The World Summit on the Information Society WSIS is in the middle of its second 10-year mandate given by UNGA, with WSIS Forum becoming a major global platform for discussing ICTs for SDGs, and WSIS Prizes recognizing best ICT practices from around the world since 2012.
